About Our Cheder
A warm Jewish home for growing minds.
The only Chabad day school in North Texas — where a love of Torah anchors a rigorous general education, and every child is seen, known, and valued.
Where it begins
Cheder is not a school that teaches Judaism in one room and the world in another. Here, the two are woven together — children learn to think critically and to live thoughtfully; to take pride in who they are and to treat every person with respect. Classes are small, so no child is a number.

Our Journey
From 21 children to more than 100.
Cheder Lubavitch Dallas opened in 2021 with 21 students. In just five years it has grown to more than 100 children across Kindergarten through 8th grade and our Girls High School — one of the fastest-growing Jewish schools in the region, and the only Chabad day school in North Texas.
What Makes Us Different

A place for every Jewish child
Many Jewish day schools admit only children who meet a narrow standard. Cheder was built on a different conviction: that every Jewish child deserves a place to learn, grow, and belong — children of all backgrounds and abilities. And we make sure cost is never the barrier; roughly 90% of our families receive scholarship support.

No child is a number
Our classes are small, so teachers know each student well and tailor instruction to their strengths and needs. Parents describe it in the same surprised words, again and again: my child can't wait to go to school in the morning.

A true partnership with families
A strong school–home connection runs through everything we do — family dinners, learning nights, and open, regular communication — so the values children meet at school are reinforced at home.
Leadership & Governance
Guided by devoted lay leadership.
Our Head of School works in close partnership with a dedicated Executive Board that stewards the school's mission, finances, and future.
Come see it for yourself.
The best way to understand our cheder is to walk the halls and meet the children. We would love to host you.
