Academics

An education with Torah at its heart.

Cheder offers a dual curriculum — a strong foundation in Jewish studies together with a comprehensive general education, taught through interdisciplinary learning that connects the two.

A Dual Curriculum

Students learning to read Hebrew

Judaic Studies

Chumash, Mishnah, tefillah, and a living Yiddishkeit — taught with warmth and depth, so children take pride in who they are and connect to their heritage.

Students working on math

General Studies

A comprehensive secular program — reading, writing, math, and science — held to a high standard, aligned with state (TEKS) benchmarks, and taught by dedicated teachers.

Grade Range

Kindergarten through 8th grade — plus our Girls High School.

We serve K–8, with a growing Girls High School, and we add grades as our community grows. Classes are small by design, so every child is known.

Approach & Highlights

Student-centered & hands-on

Developmentally appropriate, hands-on learning across every grade, built around how children actually learn.

Differentiated & individualized

Instruction informed by ongoing assessment, so every child is appropriately challenged and supported.

Active learning & critical thinking

Classrooms built on inquiry, discussion, and problem-solving — not rote memorization.

Character & middos

Daily attention to character and acts of kindness, woven through the whole school day.
