Mission & Values
Learning that lights a child from within.
We guide and care for the whole child — so that every student reaches their potential and understands their part in making the world better.
Our Mission
At Cheder, we strive to guide and care for the whole child — imbuing Chassidic values in a Torah environment through modern methodologies, ensuring every student is fulfilling their potential and understands their part in making the world a better place.
What We Cultivate
Our Three Pillars

Learn
Through purposeful, hands-on learning, we cultivate curiosity, understanding, and critical thinking — in both general and Judaic studies — rather than rote memorization. We want children who know how to think, ask, and apply what they learn.

Grow
We nurture the whole child — academically, socially, morally, and spiritually. In small classes where every child is known, students develop the lifelong skills that matter most: critical thinking, collaboration, problem-solving, creativity, and communication.

Be a Lamplighter
Through clear moral guidance, we instill goodness, responsibility, leadership, and a deep respect for every person. A 'lamplighter' is the Rebbe's image of someone who goes out to kindle the light in others — and that is who we are raising: children who turn what they learn into action.
Our Approach
The Rebbe's vision of education.
We believe every child possesses unique talents and boundless potential. Guided by developmental and experiential learning, we provide a warm, child-centered environment where children are actively engaged, supported as individuals, and encouraged to think independently — so that learning produces not only knowledge, but character.
